Corporate Leadership Center hosted an anniversary event for its two leadership development programs, in celebration of CEO Perspectives’ 15th anniversary, and Leading Women Executives’ 10th anniversary. For the first time ever, both communities joined together for a unique event at the Mid-America Club in downtown Chicago. Over 200 guests gathered for the event, including CEO Perspectives Fellows, Leading Women Executives Fellows, Advocates, Sponsors and Speakers of the two programs.
Following the cocktail reception and welcome remarks by Corporate Leadership Center Co-Chairmen, Cheryl Francis and Sheila Penrose, a panel discussion was held to explore the topic of “Shaping the Future: The Role of Business”. Moderator Daniel Diermeier (Academic Advisor, CEO Perspectives; Provost, University of Chicago) led an engaging discussion with panelists Doug Baker (Chairman & CEO, Ecolab), Ray Cameron (Managing Director, Head of Investment Stewardship – Americas, BlackRock), Peter Grauer (Chairman, Bloomberg) and Michele Hooper (President & CEO, The Directors’ Council).
